What to expect at your initial consultation

We are located in the heart of Darwin at Parap Village. Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team and carry out a comprehensive examination to assess your teeth, jaws and bite. This usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. At this stage we will either discuss treatment options or arrange for review in some growing patients who are not yet ready for treatment.

If necessary we will arrange for certain records including photos and scans of your teeth and jaws. On a large computer display we will discuss all available treatment options and provide you with our recommendations, which will be tailored to your individual circumstances and lifestyle. We will provide you a detailed treatment plan including costs and payment options.

Placing the braces or aligners

Once you are ready to proceed we will arrange for placement of the braces or aligners. This usually takes between 45 – 60 minutes.

Scheduling

We will see you every four to eight weeks during your treatment. We will work with you to make this as convenient as possible. Where appropriate we utilise the latest technologies in remote monitoring to make sure your orthodontic treatment is as smooth as possible and to minimise unnecessary visits that impact your life. Because of this we are able to cater our services to regional and remote populations of Katherine, Gove, Alice Springs, Kununurra and the rest of the Top End.
